Cleveland, OH- According to CNN, sources inside the murder investigation of Robert Goodwin Sr., Cleveland gunman, Steve Stephens reportedly placed a call to former O.J. Simpson murder accomplice, Al Cowlings.

Sources told CNN that the FBI is monitoring calls from the cell phone of the infamous murder suspect in an effort to track his plans and positions.

Steve Stephens has been on the run since mid day Sunday after posting the video of his senseless murder on his Facebook page. Mr. Stephens claimed to have killed more than a dozen other people and vowed to kill more as he continued on his murder spree.

Buzzfeed reporter, Clark Kant was able to reach Mr. Cowlings this morning via Skype for comment.

“He seemed a little distracted and confused,” said Mr. Cowlings in reference to his conversation with the murderer. “Boy, I’ve been there before. When somebody snaps and kills innocent people for no reason other than the fact that they are one crazy, spoiled SOB, It is really a strange and scary situation to be in.”

Kant asked Mr. Cowlings to give a sense of what the two spoke about. “Well, he was mostly interested in what O.J. was thinking and saying when we were on the run back in 1994. He did ask me if I could hop in my white Bronco and pick him up, saying ‘Hey man, it worked for the Juice, it might work for me’.”
